Teachers Help Teachers, Currently, and a Giveaway!

I can't believe how much damage has been caused by Hurricane Sandy!  Laurah over at The ESOL Odyssey thought that many of the teachers in the affected areas may be in need of things for their classrooms and has asked if teachers on Teachers Pay Teachers or Teachers Notebook would donate products to these teachers.  I can't imagine losing everything in my classroom, so I have signed up to help!  If you are a teacher and would like to donate products from your store, please click below!

If you are at teacher that has been affected by the hurricane, please click below so you can get some help!

Next up, I am linking up with Oh Boy Fourth Grade for the November Currently.  Like I said yesterday, I can't believe its November already.  I went to the mall today and you would have thought Christmas was next week!  If you want to link up, stop by her blog, grab the template and link up!

My hubby gave my the rights to the TV when I got home and Legally Blonde was the first thing I saw and didn't feel like looking anymore, so I stopped on it :)  My little one is next to me playing on the iPad...his LOVE.  He loves that PBS Kids app among others!

After dressing up all week, the first thing I do is get in comfy clothes when I get home.  Hello long sleeve ECU t-shirt - how I have missed you!

I  am going to be out Monday so my SB lessons for Monday are done, but the rest of the week is calling my name!

A new Japanese restaurant just opened close to our house and I saw it when I stopped by to get some Baskin Robbins and now it's on my mind! (Hubby just went to get some!)

The weather here in NC has gone from scorching hot to freezing cold and I am without pants.  I got one pair of pants last week, but desperately need more!

In the classroom we listen to Pandora quite a bit and love the Disney/Kidz Bop station.  My kids are very musical :)  I personally love Satellite radio...and can't seem to live without it!

What about you?

Last but not least Greg over at Smedley's Smorgasboard is having a 500 follower giveaway
and is giving away an awesome writing pack from Dee Dee Wills that I am dying for, so scoot over and enter!  Also his blog is hilarious and super helpful all at once...once you start reading, you will be addicted...promise!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful and relaxing Saturday!  I had to work this morning, but I am happy to be on the couch watching movies now :)

  1. Mrs. Payton, what a worthy cause. I cannot imagine what they must be going through. What a blessing it will be for the educators to be able to obtain the resources they need.

  2. Coming over from Farley's Currently!

I feel awful for everyone affected by the hurricane. It would be terrible to lose everything in the classroom. I don't have a TPT or I would definitely donate.
