On Tuesday, we had our Thanksgiving Rotations. I've posted about these before, but basically the idea is that each teacher has an activity she does with several classes. They are fun activities, but they are thematic and go along with our curriculum. Since there are 12 Kindergartens at my school, we split in half. Here are some of the activities the kids did:
Thanksgiving retelling bracelets. They are a lot of cute lessons on TpT for this!
Writing names in Native American Symbols:
Thanksgiving Bookmarks
10 Fat Turkeys the book & Turkey Cookies
Making Butter
Thumbprint Turkeys
The thumbprint turkeys were mine and let me just tell you...after making them with 6 classes with at least 20 kids per class...I was EXHAUSTED! But it was all worth it because we had a great day!
What special activities do you do for Thanksgiving?
I hope you all have a great day with family, friends and food! Here's a freebie to get your December started off right!
